If Apple’s recent releases have erred on the side of bigger is better, the iPhone SE is here to change all that. Measuring a mere 4.87 inches long, and the SE is something of a throwback to the tiny phones popular in the early aughts—remember Derek Zoolander’s miniscule flip phone?—and will prove useful to those among us who are tired of grappling with phones the size of our faces. That’s not the only good news, either: The SE’s small stature makes it an ideal partner for this season’s pochettes and clutches, a number of which are also shrinking to diminutive proportions.
Among our favorites are Louis Vuitton’s Pont Neuf mini, Marc Jacobs’s camera bag, and the downright miniature Fendi Micro Peekaboo, all less than 9 inches wide. Not small enough? Rochas’s drawstring pouch with crystal embellishment is just big enough for a phone and little else. You know what they say: Good things come in small packages.
